Actually, I want my 3 point hitch to NOT swing side-to-side on my International 986. I'm just practicing my click-bait, with that title.
My hitch currently swings side-to-side. Do you know how to set it to NOT swing?
Here's a picture of mine. The red arrow points to a bolt, which I think the manual calls a Lateral Limiter I'm missing the one on the left side, where I put a blue arrow. I need to put a bolt there.
The U shaped part, with a yellow arrow, pivots and I don't see any place to put a bolt in it or otherwise freeze it. This seems to be the problem. Maybe the 2nd picture helps. This part pivots, the lateral limiter connects to it at the bottom and moves forward and backward.
Who has experience with the 86 series, probably the same for 1086, and can help me not sway?
I think I have the telescoping sway limiter, I don't think I have the optional cam sway limiter.
Who can help by telling me how to set this so the brush cutter and cultivator don't move side to side?
