I see some were asking about me so just a short update.
My family and I are safe. We are in a motel in central Mississippi. Have had spotty cell service with my Louisiana phone so much info is sketchy.
I finally got to talk to a neighbor that stayed home threw the storm. Many trees down on the roads. Town I live in is a disaster area. 4 feet of water on the road that leads to my house so no way in or out.
My daughter left her car on my property and rode with us up here. That was a mistake. The car is totaled per neighbor. My house; per neighbor; has major damage. The eastern eye wall of the storm (worst part of the storm) went directly over my house.
Pretty stressed out right now so I will end it here. If you do not hear from me for next several days do not worry we are alive and well just dealing with personal problems.
