The OEM muffler on my tractor hauler was two in two out. Stainless but it rusted out after 20 years. The tailpipe after the muffler is a two into one.
Chevy 3500 with 8.1l gas engine. They dont make a factory replacement. Nearest I could find was two in one out.
Other than the open inlet into the tailpipe the new muffler fit perfectly. So now I'm looking for some sort of cap to fit over the open tailpipe inlet so it isn't dumping exhaust up under the bed of the truck.
