Jerry, Kawasaki 4010 gas mule only goes 25 mph. Bought it 10 years ago. 900 hours on it. Only regret, dealer doesn't knows how to work on fuel injection. Took me 5 years to set it up properly. I love fuel injection, after I got it running properly. I think 25 mph is plenty fast. Anything faster is dangerous.
Best advice, buy one from a dealer who has trained techs that know how to work them.
Check out service dept. If they have kids working there, run Forest, run. Just my opinion.
I was looking at a gator. Some are only 2 wheel drive.
Look at how big the bed is, how much they can carry, if they have 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel brakes, electric assist steering. Some have carbs, some have fuel injection. I think the Kubota is the Gold metal winner. Mule is silver or bronze, but affordable.
