Hello Tim welcome to YT! While not a definative answer looking at the CNHI online parts pages it looks like there are some parts that are offered for a 1486 no TA or TA delete as they are sometimes referred to. For example on the attached page shaft number 39. It show no. 529282R2 as a part option for that position, but it gives no specific about if it is for a machine with or without a TA but does list it as fitting a 1486. Then as a another option it lists 529434R2 specifically saying that it fits a 1486, and specifying that it is for a model with a TA. So if you were ordering that shaft for you tractor you would get the first option because you know your tractor does not have a TA. I realize that those shafts are also listed to fit other sized models. I also agree that the dual speed PTO could have been installed by a previous owner. I also did not go as far as checking if it is still available.
