A lot more done on the well drained soils especially west of Rochester, NY. July has been a nightmare in terms of spraying soybeans and harvesting wheat around here. I've got 40 acres to go on wheat and I did not see much in the way of sprouting. Could not even get a combine across a field a week ago and if you could it thrashed fairly miserable with a cylinder/walker machine. I am really depressed about the state of affairs currently. It seems like too many bad seasons anymore but it beats working a crappy retail job that tend not to last more than a few months.
