Back in 1980 when I moved to where I am now I was a bit better off then you but not much. I got a 1956 8X45 mobile home for $2500. It was built up north so good insulation. That was in July and it was a hot year. I had power so had a 5000BTU A/C unit which did ok but No water and no sewer. Neighbor I had at the time was one of the few good ones and he dug out a spring close to where it was parked. Put a pump in the spring for water and dug a hole for the sewer till I could do more. Got along just fine other then I was us to living in Norfolk VA. so the country noises at first drove me nuts. LOL
