Really common. Those are sealed, lubed for life bearings. Only thing they don't say is that is the life of the lube. Lube drys out bearing dies. Usually preceded by a really loud noise when the deck isn't running.
Most mower makers now don't provide bearing info or replacement bearings but recommend a new clutch. However, I've successfully replaced several. Once the bearing is out use the number on it to get a new one. Some are staked in place, but a good sharp cape chisel takes care of that.
Or, just order a new clutch, but not from JD as they are available for less that 1/2 JD's list. And most give equivalent or better service. Browse eBay and make up your own mind as my opinion is free and should be regarded in that light.
