I have in the past shown up to check on a tractor in a car and buy it and come back say 30-60 minutes later to pick it up. The Case VAC I use to rake hay I found on Craig's list and he wanted $300. I call him about 30 minutes after he had posted it and told him I would buy it. Told him I could come and give him a down payment that evening. He told me do so in the morning. I went over and looked at it and gave him $100 and told him I'd be back with the rest and my truck and trailer.
