I know this has been addressed before and I know the springs in the clutch valve (Quad Range transmission) probably need to be replaced due to the tractors age. The question I have is, if when I test the pressure at the clutch valve and it's either in or out of spec, there are shims that can go in to adjust the pressure in 5psi increments and I cannot find the part number for these shims in my JD parts book does anyone know it? Also do the shims go under the upper spring or the lower spring? I know historically these clutches are jumpy by nature but some feathering would really be nice especially with a loader. Many thanks in advance for information.
