45 years ago I bought a retired man's tools. Included was a belt driven vacuum pump that he claims came off an old semi. The vacuum pump was powered with a 1/4 hp electric motor and he used it to pump down AC units. It still works. It looked old 45 years ago. Betting it has to be 60 or 70 years old.
