A long time ago they had a company create and maintain a good setup.
In a cost cutting move they thought they could do it themselves cheaper. They seem to screw it up and try a different approach every 2 years, screwing it up more each time. They got so much hate mail from this last new and improved from their own dealers that they worked on bringing some of it back a little.
But the bean counters and the suits at the conference desk just are out of touch with what people actually want and need, so it never gets better, just changed to the latest corporate whim that has no connection to reality.
