I have broken off a couple on our JD4600, because I use it primarily for brush cutting. I just put in rubber automotive ones, but my rims might be a little flatter than yours. I have no intention of ever putting fluid in the tires, I have wheel weights. One time I broke one off a rear when I was out in the woods a ways, as soon as I realized what happened I jumped off and whittled a wooden plug and drove it in. That allowed me to get the tractor out to the end of the road where I could get my truck to it.
