From your comments on the pencil drawing of the old McCormick-Deering tractor the other day, you admire the skills of artists who draw and paint intricate pictures.
The Dutch Artist, Joopi Heusman, did not paint tractors or machinery but he was a rag and bone man who painted some of the items he collected. He painted every stich and repair in the subject which ranged from an old coat hanging on a nail to a poor old widow's patched underwear on a washing line.
My wife and I have visited his museum many times and have a few prints of his pictures and never cease to be amazed at the amount of detail he gets into these pictures.
