And it resulted in a pretty good idea. I replaced some steel lines that has been brazed and were in all around rough condition. The parts guys always make them about 3 inches to long to compensate for the curves in the steel line and that makes em hard to instal and not fit right and look sloppy. I got thinking what if I pounded the line flat before I took it in to boy wonder? Sure enough worked like a charm and he was within a 1/4 inch on length on two different lines
