A 2WD will sell quickly for the simple reason that it is CHEAPER than a similar size/weight/HP tractor in 4WD.
Most buyers will regret their decision sooner or later. Good for the dealer because they usually come back and trade for a 4WD.
I see EVENTUALLY there being a time when 2WD is no longer offered. Once it becomes unprofitable for manufacturers to stock it as an option, they will stop offering it. That will happen when the number of sales of 2WD tractors falls below a certain threshold.
