Well, you may enjoy a pressurized hydraulic shower when a hose let's go, but I certainly didn't enjoy the last one, and that was a hose on the bucket curl cylinder. I have absolutely zero desire to experience a shower from one of the lift cylinder hoses, seeing as how I have a pair of them mere inches from me. I've seen the results of oil getting injected into someone's skin, and it isn't pretty.
As for my hose conundrum, it's not that I'm attempting to cheap out on this, but rather that I have a tractor now blocking my driveway, with one of the the front pump suction hose having swelled to the point that it easily slides on/off the fitting. Seeing as how I have the whole system drained, it seemed like now is a better time to take care of that problem. But I don't have anything local that's open on Sundays other than Ace Hardware/Home Depot/Lowes, etc., and was hoping I wouldn't have to order in 6 inches of hose somewhere...
