I did not read the anhydrous post but know in La. a farmer can get away with murder(not really).a farm plate lets a farmer skirt or skate on a lot of DOT rules! In La. if you have a farm plate you are not required to wear a seat belt within 5 miles of your farm.same thing with an off road vehicle,atv or whatever,it can be operated on state or parish roads legally if you have a farm plate on one of your vehicles and within 5 miles.a state trooper had me dead to rights on the no seatbelt thing then told me about the law.didnt give me a ticket cause I was too close to the farm
