I can not follow the anhydrous tanks thread because it is so broken up.
But I sure get a good laugh when I read some of the replies.
if the haul vehicle is registered to a private individual
private carrier and use for agriculture he does not need a Hazmat endorsement
I shoulda peeled them off (talking about placards)
farmers are exempt
Its pretty obvious some of you guys do not know haz mat regulations.
Some of you read the first line in a paragraph and then stop because you are satisfied with the answer.
Yes farmers are exempt; but that is only for tanks properly mounted; are used to carry product to the field within XX miles of the supplier.
Haz mat rules do not play by this I'm a private individual; I'm not a DOT licensed hauler stuff.
