They sell fuel here in CO in the summer that will gel absolutely solid, will not even come out a 1" NPT plug. This will undisputedly happen before "0" and will happen occasionally at 15-20 above. These biodiesel ultra low sulfur summer fuels are absolutely no good much below freezing temperatures with out additive. REMEMBER, powerservice has 2 options, one is additive, one is antigel additive. If you are buying the additive without making CERTAIN it is antigel additive, you can pour the tank full and likely not correct the issue. REmember when winter fuel first comes online in the fall, it is not full strength winter fuel because the supplier had summer fuel thatmixed with treated fuel, the transport had summer fuel carryover blending with treated fuel, then the station had a tank of carryover summer fuel mixed with a half a$$ winter treatment dilluted along the way, so the first 1 or 2 fillups of "treated" fuel are not going to be absolute. not to mention your machine's tank. I put antigel in along with a moisture remover in my tank in the late summer in orer to prepare for winter, but my diesels are expected to run and work in temps own to -35 occasianally throughout winter.
