Road trip yesterday through south Alabama. Left the house planning to buy a few cultivator parts from one guy and a cub from another one. First stop the parts. Turns out he had a '49 cub partially apart for sale. He donated it to a high school ag program to restore and a year later they gave up and sent it back. Appears all there, except the carb. Was running and driving when he sent it to them. Will be going back next week for it. Too cheap not to. Ended up buying almost 2 full sets of cultivators, disc plow, moldboard plow, sickle mower, belly mower and assorted parts from him. Off to get the other cub. Got there well after dark and was surprised that the tractor looked better than the pictures! Loaded up, visited a bit and headed home. Got home at 11 pm.... Way too late for us.
This cub is a '49 also..... They keep finding us. Our poor '50 is feeling lonely!
