Good evening all. I am new to YT and I got my hands on an International 300 Utility. So far I have not posted but I have gathered a good bit of information from YT. I am pretty new to fixing tractors but I have a very solid mechanical background.
I believe that my 300U was originally run off of propane? If it was, now it runs off of gas and someone modified an old propane tank into a gas tank with the sediment bowl on the bottom.
So far, I have had the pressure line on the hydraulics repaired (cut and swedged a new line), replaced gauges and start switch, and I am currently replacing all of the wiring.
I am not interested in making this tractor original and putting that kind of $$$ into it. I am just wanting it to be a reliable tractor for around the house.
If you guys have any wisdom you'd like to share, I would appreciate hearing it.
