Maybe I should re-word my comment.
I went by the deer and he was just laying on the side of the road like he did not have a care in the world. It seem odd and even funny that he did not move even when traffic passed him by. What a odd place for him to choose to lay down.
Yes in reality I know he did not choose this spot to just lay down. He was most likely hit by a car and is now wounded or paralyzed.
