One of the 4 bolts that hold the drawbar assembly to the tractor broke. I had a very difficult time getting the broken bolt out. There was about 1/4 of an inch of the bolt sticking out because just the head broke off. Tried a vice grip first. No go. Then I tried heat. No help. Then I drilled a small hole up thru the bolt so I could spray some penetrating oil in from the top. No go. Then tried welding a washer and nut to the bolt. Thought that was working but about 1/2 inch of the bolt broke off and screwed out. Finally I decided there was nothing to do but drill and retap it. Got that done but now the bolt is a little sloppy in the hole. What should I do so it will hold good.. Locktite or is there something better?
