I think you are misinterpreting what I said (and what I understood old was saying). When I said that was just the sleeve deck, that is what I meant, and I think he meant. That is not an engine kit with pistons, just the deck. One has to purchase the other parts separately. I did not say parts were not available, I know they are. My point was, the cost to rebuild those engines is up there, If they need a sleeve deck. A major overhaul kit (having pistons, rings and all the other parts you would be buying to go with this engine's sleeve deck) is about $1000 for many other engines. And I believe this should be mentioned when someone is looking at one of them, just so they don't get surprised if that happens as some folks have been.
