Shouldn't that have a check valve in the fuel line to keep the fuel line full when shut off?? I've been around several older combines with the tank lower than the motor and they all would start easy. What have you checked out? Are you sure that the fuel is leaking back down or do you have another problem causing the hard start. If you absolutely have to have an electric fuel pump, MF 300's had an electric pump on them. That would pump fuel with the correct pressure. Chris
