Programming a new key fob is along the same lines as finding a door code. The key fobs for our Toyota van quit opening the locks. Went to the dealer for a new fob. Dealer ordered the fob and called when it came in. He warned me it would be expensive but I told him to go ahead with it. $150 later I drove away with a new fob. Fast forward a year and the new fob quit opening the locks. It was then that I found out I could get a new fob through Amazon and program it myself using youtube. I ordered the new fob and programmed it myself. Been working like clockwork for two years now without a hiccup. Total cost $20. I got this idea from here on YT.
