I recently had a return line boot cracked and leaking right above the hose clamp. I went ahead and changed all six and the first time I fired it up after the repair two of the new boots started leaking again in the same spot just above the clamp. I found these VERY hard to replace and hate to tackle this again without looking further into this. Does the return line have to come completely off to change these? I am sure there is something I am missing with these but I would appreciate any advice with changing these as I am at a loss....
