The 3rd week of therapy I was doing the steps- step up with the left then bring the right up. 3 repetitions of 20 each. I had the anterior replacement done, the posterior takes a bit longer from what I hear. My surgeon is the only one that does the anterior from Huntington, WV. to Columbus Ohio. I was lucky that I got him instead of the other 2 surgeons at the hospital. If you can get the anterior done do it, not the extent of muscle and tendon damage that is with the other from what I hear. The hospital Marketing people are supposed to be calling me about the surgery from him and my recovery.
