The Deere RW disk dad bought new in 1959 had sealed non greasable bearings that lasted the usable life of the disk. We used it pretty heavy for 16 years then it went to occasional use. It was never pulled fast or deep though because we did not have the power in front of it to pull it that way. About ten years ago a bearing finally locked up. When I got apart I found all of the bearings were bad and the original blades were worn way down so I junked it out.
