Hi jm. Thanks for your reply. Ok, understand if the solenoid is within the housing at the rear end of the main pump but surely there should be evidence of some wiring going to it. The sensor in the timing cover has 3 wires, black and yellow, red, I think, and green possibly. It�s held in by a single 6mm screw. The sensor end appears to be black plastic and is around 5/8� in diameter, there is no indication of any moving parts or ports for fuel flow. A Kubota loader is fitted so this makes it difficult to see around the inner side properly. Any further thoughts would be very welcome. Thanks DavidP
