Early production 460's came with the 2 and 1/2 inch axles . I once owned 460 s/n 571 and it had the 2 1/2 axles . The only time there was a problem was when you mounted one of them old HEAVY I H mounted corn pickers , then you broke axles on every wash out, ground hog hole or other big bump in the field . They started putting in the 2 and 3/4 axles later on in production . Guys that ran the New Idea mounted pickers did not have a problem because that picker was lighter with the 8 roll bed the 12 roll was a bit heavier but still way lighter then the 2 ME and 2 MH . I do not believe you will have a problem with the baler or manure spreader UNLESS that spreader is a monster but a NORMAl 125 thru 175 bushel will be fine.
