When you cut them off spray the stumps. Get them sprayed within a few minutes after being cut. Check the label but if I remember correctly the rate for cut stump method is 15% Remedy in diesel. The small ones just spray the stems from the ground up about 12-16�. This is how we treat mesquite and mixed brush. Check the label in case there�s a different recommendation for tallow. Tony
