Grew up on AC, ran JD for past 30 years. This year bought a new Kubota M4-071, 65 PTO hp., FWA, shuttle shift, FEL. Very pleased with it. Beneficial technology yet not so space age that I can't figure it out. Very nice cab. Right size for our smaller hay operation. Local JD dealer has no use for small operators, are hellishly over priced on whole goods and screw you into the ground on service. MF dealer is very good but acknowledged he couldn't compete on price with Kubota. Kubota dealer been in business since 1936 with several brands over the years but is now Kubota only and is excellent in all respects. Kubota appears to be moving gradually into a larger array of products and appears to doing so intelligently. Would be a mistake not to look at them from what I have experienced.
