I just use a fertilizer buggy. Take my seed to farm supply store and mix with fertilizer. Set buggy for 1/2 rate. Go over it once then go back splitting my tracks. Then pull a cultipacker over it. I also cultipack at least twice before planting. Running the teeth down about 2" . I ask a friend once how many times to work ground to plant grass seed alfalfa etc. He replied. Work it till you think it's good. Then work it once or twice more.
