Do you have JD to Pioneer adapters. Pioneer fittings will not plug in to older JD tractors. I am assuming you know how the JD coupler works. You push the JD coupler in till it clicks and then turn the rod underneath the housing ninety degrees to lock it in. To uncouple turn the rod so it is facing out the back of the tractor and pull the hose out. Other than that it should work.
