I haven't seen the space station, but a couple of months ago my daughter was outside after dark and she came in the house shouting for everyone to "quickly come outside." We barely made it out to see about eight satellites in a row moving at a fast speed, soon all of them out of sight. She managed to capture a photo of them and put them on her Facebook page. She's got a computer science degree, so she knows exactly what they were. Internet accessibility for every one on earth, it seems.
