Exactly. Dads 2010 is only on its first rebuild. And it is the only think new enough to be 12 volt gas tractor we run.
Dad spent 4 hours mowing grass on a 80 year old tractor couple days ago and tomorrow he will be orchard spraying on a 70 year old ferguson which dad loves to brag about. Dad says instead of buying a custom built orchard sprayer in the early 60s, they bought this used ferguson te20, fixed it up and installed a used "Bean" sprayer. The growing city has been taking away the orchards recently but for over 30 years, the little ferguson covered over 400 acres, multiple times a year and still chugs along happily. Total investment of machine and parts for over 50 years of service is still under $3,000. Dad loves to brag about that. And still 6 volt Lucas system
