I have a 4010 JD gasser 1961--and a MM-M5 Diesel also a 61-I really like both tractors for what I use them for. The JD is a 6 cyl. and the MM-M5 is a 4 cyl.---the MM-M5 is a bigger cube engine. Both have power steering, 3 pt. live power. Just my opinion----I think when they were new the MM-M5 was more tractor. I didn't have them when new and it is just a guess. Chain them up in 1961 and who pulls who?????? len in michigan The MM-M5 is the last tractor my wife and I bough together. I would steal a few minutes to work on the tractor to try and keep my sanity...She left on 10-29-2018---almost 51 years. If you have a wife--Love Her everyday an don't take any day for granted..........
