Scouring your own county as well as those surrounding yours is a starting point, but without the serial number if you do find one you think is it you are still just guessing. Then knowing your plight the current owner asks an absorbent price, which you pay not even knowing if it is ...the one... And who is to say that It wasn�t shipped 100 or 200 miles away if not several states. The sadder reality is that way more have been scrapped than saved. You are best off focusing your efforts on finding one and restoring it as a replica or tribute to your families legacy. Just my humble opinion.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
