I would say, based on the documents below, which I attached links to, it appears to be a replacement for their 303 which has been banned from some markets. If you find and check the product data sheet (PDS) for it Martin doesn't list any equipment manufacturer specs it meets (like the old John Deere J14B [1974 issue], J20A [1978 issued], or current J20C [1089 issued]) It is written in PDS document that it is not for equipment manufactured after 1974.
A 301A was built 1974 to 1985 by the JD parts catalog. J20C is the current John Deere spec and recommend as superseding their earlier specs.
