Thank you for the reply. Not gravity fed. The tank is plastic and behind the seat. The supply line out of the tank comes out of the bottom RH side at about the level of the front axle hubs, goes up behind the engine to a shutoff valve then fuel filter on LH side of engine then back to the pump on the RH side. I plan to order an inline 12v lift pump unless I find a problem somewhere else.May well be worth adding a pump just for filter bleeding as you mention. I may try draining the tank and double checking for an obstruction at the fuel line sump, although I had it off twice yesterday.
