Never owned a set of plammers. Just old fashioned fence pliers. Our stretcher does a good job though. Pulleys with 2 ropes, a large hook on one end then the fence grabber on the other. Does your state offer a no sales tax on farm items. In Ny. we are sales tax exempt in stores where we filled out the form as long as it can be considered farm related. Funny thing is anything labeled horse is usually not exempt. Guess horses here are considered more of a hobby for people with money than people like you who use them for cattle work !
