John Fritz, aka, The Red, passed on, March 29th, in Indianapolis Indiana. He was an IH fan. Probably one of the first members of Tractor Tales. Rest In Peace Red.
John D. Fritz, 68, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2020. John was born in Indianapolis on March 21, 1952 to Cecil M. and Lucy (Johnson) Fritz, both preceded in death. John served proudly in the USAF and attained the rank of Captain while he served as the T38 Pilot Instructor. He loved piloting planes and spoke fondly of his days in the Airforce. He worked for City Securities Corporation for over 30 years. He loved farming and restoring Farmall tractors. His hobbies included carpentry and building builtins, cabinets and tables. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda S. Fritz; daughter, Corey Fritz; son-in-law, Grant Bradburn; sisters Susan Fritz and Marcia (Dave) Mason. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions in honor and memory of John be made to one of the following charitable organizations; Second Helpings 1121 Southeastern Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202 or Wheeler Mission 205 East New York Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
