What would cause a condenser to go bad. I have to put a new one on about once a year.Gets so bad after the tractor warms up good it just quits. Let it cool and starts right up. Just wondering if the points need to be set closer or farther apart or may be to hot of a coil. I tried to change to electronic ign. and never could get it to run. Even with talking with petronics on the phone several times. So I put the points back in and left the flame thrower coil on it. It is a 1010 JD
