well the tractor won�t be in their shed so they can�t show it to you, and the owner can�t be contacted by you because he is overseas fighting a war, need the money for his new kid or some such sob story. But it�s a super good deal just send the money to help the family out.......
Can be as simple as harvesting emails as someone mentioned.
More likely they will want you to reply with a code to �know you are legit.�
What they have done is used your phone number to set up a Google phone account, and need the code that gets sent to your phone number to create the account and then use it for themselves and more dishonest activity.
