As others have said, hydro is key to a good blower tractor. I have a 2305 Deere with an older 54 inch Frontier blower. It will take a full width and depth cut with no problem. Just doesn�t move very fast doing it. I figure this combination will move half the snow a prior 100 hp tractor and 7 ft blower would.
Just remember that on snow blowers, the diameter of the fan determines how far you can throw snow. The depth of the fan determines how much snow you can move.
