I run a 7 foot dual stage snow blower on my 27 hp NH 1720.
In deep snow it is a little much for it, but generally it works pretty good.
The key is to have a lot of reverse gears, if you can drive slow enough it can blow anything.
My gear tractor has 3 reverse gears.
While I am not generally fond of hydro on a tractor, I understand a hydro would be great for this.
It is much easier blowing snow with the 27hp 1720 because of the theee reverse gears, then it is to use the same blower on my 960 Ford with 45 hp, but only one reverse gear. Too fast....
There are a lot of 5-7 foot well made blowers out there, and front end conversions too, that should work fine with a smaller tractor with good gear ranges (slow).
