Does anyone still rotary hoe? I still do.It's great for plucking out those tiny early weeds.Or do they just spray Roundup and forget it? Breaking crust is also a side benefit. the corn seems to jump after being hoed.what about hoeing multiple times? How tall can the corn be. I've been told by some 'old timers' that they would hoe several times,till the corn got 6" tall.Killed a lot of weeds.After growing hemp last year,we are left with a bumper crop of weeds. Should have planted RR corn instead of the NONGMO that I raise.Multiple hoeing may be in order,as well as extra cultivateing.I may have a mess out there! :( 2,4D/Banvel will get the broad leaf,A product called ResolveQ(it's expencive) will get the grass.What about Attrazine? I haven't used it in 40 years,buy thinking it may be the answer.will Attrazine kill broadleafs?I will go talk to my chemical supplier.Thanks.
