Marvel Schebler TSX-464 carb off of a WD-45 I am working on. I have cleaned the carb up quite a bit, and spent a lot of time today removing the old gasket material with a razor blade. What do you guys think, am I ready to install a new gasket, or should I scotch brite pad the surfaces a bit before I go forward? Anything else I should double check before I go on? Had a lot of rust around the top of the drain plug and some black gunk at the base of the main jet screw, but otherwise seemed to be in decent shape. Tractor hasn't run in 8 years.
